Coronet 24 Family was first shown to the press in the autumn 1969 but production and sale commenced the following year. It was an entirely new model and it does not have the same hull as 24 De Luxe/Cabin, 24 Weekender, 24 Flybridge and 24 Midi.
From 1972 it was available with flybridge, as the model 24 Family Flybridge.
The 1970 model has a hull number xxx 550 where xxx is the serial number. The following years the hull numbers have the form xxx 245y where xxx is the serial number and y the last figure in the year of production.
