Coronet 24 Weekender was presented in November 1966 but production and sale commenced the following year. It is a larger copy of 21 Daycruiser and since it was equipped with hanging lockers and an ice locker it was first called 24 Weekendcruiser but the name was soon changed to 24 Weekender.
Later it has been called 24 Daycruiser or 24 DC due to the similarity to its sister but these names were hardly used during the 1960s, at least not by the factory.
As for other Coronet models the deck colour was changed from dark green 1967 to light green 1968. The boats of the first year thus have a dark green deck, those of the last two years a light green deck.
It was produced in three years only, 1967-1969.
The hull number has the form xxx 51y where xxx is the serial number and y the last figure in the year of production.
