This is my first post so apologies for the question in English but I know no Swedish apart from ikea.
I am the proud owner of coronet 24 family and am in need of some advice from other club members with experience with this model of boat ?
My boat has twin volvo aq131c and volvo penta 290 aquamatic stern drives propellers are 15x17 counter rotating,
Now the props that came with the boat are a bit bent and so I am looking to get replacements ? Has anyone replaced a 3 blade for a 4 blade prop for better efficiency and if so which prop?!
I have been looking at solas saturn ss 15.5 x 17 long hub as I can't seem to find many options for this old stern drive?

There is new original propellers to find at various webshops. But the Solas, I think is a priceworthy alternative and should work just fine. Michigan also have a series of propellers for AQ outdrives.

Another idea, is to take your old propellers to a propeller shop and have them repaired/adjusted... probably cheaper than new ones.

I did consider having the current aluminium props repaired but as I am planning to use my boat for deep sea fishing I decided to go for the 4 blade option as they are supposed to provide better fuel efficiency and better handling for offshore.
I think I will probably go with the solas saturn 4 blades and let you know how they turn out, as I'm sure a lot of the coronets still have similar drives.
Also what a great boat the coronet is, classic timeless design and so we'll thought out :-) I will keep this boat for many years to come and bring her back to her former glory during the winters.
