Hi there, hope to know witch are the rightone propeller to Coronet 30 Oceanfahrer with Volvo Penta 170 A engines and
Volvo 270 x-drive.
Power ends in 3200rpm in both engines and speed is 17 knots.
Engines are rebuilt and just some hours driven.

Did have 15x15 HS (highspeed) VP propellers on My former boat 32 OF Equipped with the same engines and drives as your boat. About 25 knots at 4000 rpm.

Any idea witch is the gear ratio in 270 drives.

1.89:1 for B30 6 cylinder engines. (B20 4 cyl 2.15:1)

Now i know that there are 15 x 16 propeller and they are the original size. Should go about 28 knots, but the power stops to 3100 rpm. What other reason can be if the propeller are right size. Im out with this sitsuation. Both engines rebuid 2014 and now im the new owner and out like a snowball.

If ignition is correctly adjusted, breaker points ok, carburettors ok etc I would suspekt that camshaft is faulty. (Worn out) I have had that problem. Do you Know If they were replaced during overhaul of your Engines.?It might be that only one engine is faulty since they Are helping each other to reach top speed. (IF one does not have enough HP It is to tough for the other to reach top speed, to high "gear" to accelerate.)
