My father recently passed away leaving a boat in a storeage barn which he had always claimed had been raced in the first Miami-Nassau PowerBoat race (before he purchased it in about 1975). He had a news article about it being piloted by O. Botved and Allen Forbes as crewman. I do not know about boats, and wonder if there is a way to authenticate this. Are there markings or seriel numbers that I could find on the boat? Thank you for any help.

Also, is there a North American Coronet Club as far as you know? - I have come across a couple of other Coronets in the wilds of Ontario, Canada!

I think that Karen sold her fathers boat not long ago. I was in contact with the new owner but I don´t rememer his name.

I have not heard of any North American Coronet Club. There is only one Coronet Boat owners club. Coronet Sweden Yacht Club.
Many North Americans have contacted us but none sofar has joined the club.
