I have just repainted my 21DC and I am plannint to order a new canopy for it. Can you please share models that you have ordered or have found to be working nicely - while looking nice as well. Specially interested in where/what size the ’windows’ are and what fittings you have used to fix it on the deck itself. My 21DC is apparently from -68, have not been able to verify from the hull number (overpainted).

I ordered a new canopy in 2021 from Kapell & Annat in Malmö. I believe it works and looks fine. All the windows are cozy when sitting inside it, but you can feel a little exposed if you are sleeping in the cabin. It will also be hot inside in sunny weather, but of course then you will not need it, at least not the transparent sides, which are removeable.

Thx for your input Mats, that seems nice to be able to remove the ’transparent sides’. For all the fittings, did you stay with the one type in my photo or did you use something else that works?

The type you have is the original one an a good one to use

Yes, I use the fitting you show everywhere, except for the openable rear.

There I use ”norsk knapp”, that seems to be the same as turn button in English.

MP Venekuomu in Raisio has several different models for 21dc. I am already on my 2nd canopy from them! The first one I had for almost 20 years....
