Forgive my English…..I have a coronet 26 family which we wish to sell, we are members and have completed the information on the boat in the register. We are trying to understand the value of the boat please and I cannot find any information reference the approximate value . Does anyone have any advice or recommendation as to what the value should be approximately? I realise it may be naive to ask the members but I know what the boat cost to get it to such a standard , we just wanted some advice from all of your knowledge !? We want to advertise on the coronet site of course.

Dear Lucas. Everything depends on the condition of the boat (and the right buyer). If it is in good condition with no critical issues and original/old engine the current price in Denmark would vary between EUR 15-20.000. If you have a newer engine you may be able to get 25K and the more “original” the boat with no modifications spoiling the original design the higher price you will get.

Thank you so much for your thoughts! We really appreciate it. Our lovely coronet has a new engine and drive with 100 hrs, and the entire boat has been renovated to top condition . So I am very happy about that, we are more enthusiastic to find the right people who will love the boat as much as we have done.
A question, will people in the Baltic states want a trailer for this to tow her on ??? Or is this something that just doesn’t happen? We have kept the boat below 3500kgs so we can tow and have been Scotland , Brittany , south of France and all over England, but you do need a suitable vehicle, we are thinking we should sell her without the trailer as we believe people won’t want to do that…….. any advice you have would be gratefully received !

Thanks, Lucas. Just happy to do a little pay back for all the advice that I have gotten from this community. I believe most F26 owners in this area do not have a trailer. On the other hand it might be a good option for some.

Btw checked out your boat and it for sure seems to have a lot of nice features not least the new engine so you should be able to get a decent price for it.

We have plans to come over with boat possibly and try to come when Coronet Rally is happening. I am unsure when they have any events…

I am based in Helsingør (Elsinore). There are rallies both in Denmark and Sweden - in fact one in Frederikshavn DK in the upcoming weekend. Don’t know if any more events this season but otherwise next year. Events are advertised on the front page of this site but I recommend you to also follow Coronet Yacht Club on Facebook.
